White Washer Info, all you need to know!!!

Our Washers are for OEM Clutches Only

We now have two white washers, the STD washer and the Thick washer.  The std washer is to be used on every belt sold including OEM, our STD belt or any aftermarket belt you want to fix the inherent issue of belt overtravel except for the Gates brand it is too short for it to fix.  For more info on belt overtravel, here is the complete article on that.  Link to Overtravel Article

The STD washer is the only one you can buy off our site separate because you can use it with other belts as mentioned.  The Thick Washer is only to be used with the new Quiet Thick belt and it comes with it so no need to sell one of them.

The Thick washer is ONLY to be used with our Thick Quiet belt because we intentionally shortened and widened it to spread the secondary clutch apart a fraction of an inch to stop the low speed squeal in some secondary clutches when you use a thicker belt.

The washers purpose is to allow us to make and use a belt that fixes the overtravel issue and low speed squealing coming from these secondary clutches all the while of allowing you to run a thicker belt that grabs better than the OE belt on most models.

However, you can in fact run the Thick Washer with any belt if you HAVE to but it will limit top speed just the same.
