Dalton 2017-19 Turbo Two Seat Clutch Kit Info Updated 5/21/19 Same kit can be used in the Four Seater as two now, testing was done at Dalton and no complete new kit was required. Simply changes to the set up is all that is needed. New kits will have instructions for four seat in them but this is the jest of it. If you REALLY do use it as a 4 seater with passengers, and/or if you most often run in soft terrain, then it is common to use approx one less gram on the flyweights....or the next lighter setting on the weight depending how you are set up for tire size. This means, one less set screw than a two seater.
If you have aftermarket boost program on any of the turbo vehicles in this series, it is common to add approx one gram or the next heavier setting based on tire size you are set up with in the regular instructions. This means add one more set screw to what the set up says for your tires. Dalton has released their kit for the two and four seat Turbo and we are carrying it. The kit is for stock vehicles that do not have flashes to raise the boost. However if you have raised the boost as mentioned about the four seat above then you will most likely only have to add one more set screw to the flyweights. Who needs this kit? Those who have added larger tires and lost performance Those that live at higher elevations and need the adjustability for the loss of power Those that are duners and have paddle tires that need the added RPM. Anyone who is doing the flashes and raising the boost might have to go with some custom kit to serve them better. Basically this is a clutch calibration kit for a stock Turbo for the above mentioned reasons. Sorry for being blunt, we just don't want anyone confused for what it is for. Also, Hunterworks has not personally tested this kit we do not have a Turbo or access to one where we are so our tech support will be rather limited on this kit. But judging off Dalton's past they can support it and the kit will work as advertised. Todd |
