2020 and Newer General XP Belt Slap This might not be exactly the answer you want but you will get the jest of it. The simple answer is Polaris did a very bad job of getting the clutch calibration correct on these while literally nailing it on the regular General. Other than a bad set up, there is an issue with the belt slapping the top of the clutch cover too on these. In 2021 they attempted a fix, was some better but not a complete fix, so what fixes the 2020 model fixes the 2021-22 Model as well, the Dalton clutch kit for a General XP does. The Dalton Kit comes in three flavors, two based on tire size and third on elevation with a limit on 32” tires on high elevation, just not enough power for this vehicle with tires larger than 32 at high elevation. All the kits are on the link below and HIGHLY suggest you swap the secondary square pucks regardless of doing a kit to our secondary rollers to stop them from wearing out the secondary clutch.
